Flue Extension
There are three optional extensions kits available. Any combination
of the kits can be chosen, however, only one kit can be used vertically
or horizontally.
A standard extension kit (9001246) is individually packaged and
shipped with the water heater. Additional kits are available –
see the Venting Options table (below) and possible extension combinations.

Field -Installed Accessories with Gas Fired
Water Heaters
State’s policy on field-installed accessories
is that only those items that have been tested and certified with
their water heaters will be allowed to be installed on their units,
but any liability , whether incidental or consequential, will be
met by manufacturers of the accessories.
